Soraia Gomes Teixeira will lead a community artistic activation in the architectural installation designed by ATA Atelier, located in the Quinta da Capela housing development, as part of the architecture and art festival Forma da Vizinhança.
Centred around site-specific objects created for the location, the proposal invites the neighbourhood to engage in a performative experience focused on slowing down, self-care, touch, and attentive listening.
With a practice that weaves together design and social reflection, Soraia explores the symbolic power of objects as a way to foster new relationships — among neighbours, with the surrounding space, and with time itself. Her activation at Quinta da Capela proposes to transform the everyday into a space of encounter, care, and shared imagination.
