Inês Neto dos Santos will lead a community artistic activation in the architectural installation designed by the RAM collective, located in the urban garden of Quinta das Lameiras, as part of the architecture and art festival Forma da Vizinhança.

A multidisciplinary artist, Inês has been exploring the practical and metaphorical dimensions of fermentation as a gateway to reflect on our interconnected, multispecies existence. Her proposal — How to look back, from above, from underneath and inside out — invites the community to immerse themselves in the ecosystem of the Lameiras garden through collective exercises in observation, breathing, harvesting, writing, fermenting, fertilising, and performing.

With a deliberately slow and attentive rhythm, this activation proposes thinking and feeling the digestive and metabolic dynamics of the garden, taking into account all its inhabitants — humans, animals, plants, fungi, and microorganisms. The experience will culminate in a performative lunch, as a way of nurturing a more symbiotic, reciprocal, and sensitive relationship with the shared space of the neighbourhood.

25 and 26 June – Fermentation Workshop
31 July – Performative Lunch Preparation Workshop
2 August – Performative Lunch

This activation will take place in the Lameiras urban garden,
where RAM’s architectural installation is implanted.
